The Hot Coffee Espresso is an expansion of the original Hot Coffee Fuzz released last year (2022). Screaming oscillation, unruly fuzz tones, more saturation than any noise nerd could ever need. Espresso pot adds input boost to your signal and push NOS transistors to their breaking point. Germanium clipping! More noise than a really noisy thing. No trace of hyperbole here, folks. Nope, no sir.

But seriously, The Hot Coffee Espresso will fit nicely into that realm of fantastically usable Fuzz Pedal while also utilizing some of YYAAAAAARRRRRRRRGGGGGHHH’s green space. Speaking of space, power and signal jacks are all top-mounted to take the minimum amount of board sq. in. It plays nicely with humbuckers but absolutely loves single coils. Very reactive to your picking style, it can go from a light dirt to Pigpen* with the intensity of your right hand. Or left, if you’re cool. Comes with 3 stage input High Pass Filter which gives you control of the BOOM. Hard clipping bypass for more volume and pure transistor grit. The Starve control adds some compression to the Oscillation’s wilder characteristics, which is to squeal in the most unusual reactive ways in between your notes. Not for everyone but oh so magical if it’s for you. Espresso boosts the input signal (as opposed to the output, which is the traditional way of doing it) until the fuzz circuit overloads and compresses hard, creating a kind of buzz that makes me smile.
