Who’s Building These Pedals?

Chris, the guy who does everything.

What follows is a company history, circa somewhere around 2016:

One electrician/musician wanted to see if there was an overdrive pedal that used a vacuum tube, saw how expensive they were and said, "well, I can't afford that."

So, he built one.

There are most eloquent beginnings to a company, but that's mine. Self-educated and pretty obsessive, the knowledge base expanded and the pedals got better. The name Tone Collector Custom was chosen for no other reason than it was the best one i could think of. Audacious, but i think i've grown into it.

I do the things i do because they make me feel good. I hope one day they make you feel good too, although that might not impact my output. I'm friendly but not social, y'know? My pedals are loud as feck, noisy, and loads of fun if you want to experiment with your sonic palette.

Contact me directly if you have custom ideas, i'm usually up for a fun, creative project or collaboration.

Always looking for professional demo videos, so get @ me for some 'free' pedals. Bands also welcome: though I don't offer sponserships, I'm happy to work with bands who want to shape their sound.

Stay toned,
Chris the Collector
